Friday night we went to do some baby shopping and after we went for a bite to eat. The following morinng Rachel seemed fine so we went to Wexford, 3 hours drive from Cork to look at stone for the house we are building.

we were about 1/2 hour from our destination when Rach started crying and told us she had a pain in her tummy. we stopped at a resturante where she went to the loo, poor lo had an upset tummy. We went to the shop where we are gteeting the stone. poor thing had to go to the loo loads but she was able to tell me when she needed to go.

She has only been trained for about 4 weeks now and we were having problems with her holding onto her poo's. I know it's horrible when you have a tummy up-set but may-be this has in itself trained her not to hold onto her poo, if you know what I mean ?????

She is doing great, she called dh last night at 4 to ask him to take her to the toilet, so all in all I think she is doing really well. She will be 3 the end of september.

I have to admit I was tempted to put a nappy on her in wexford but I'm glad I didn't.

Aw well done Rachel. Sorry to hear she had upset tum, but that could well have cured her wee prob with holding onto her poos. Cameron was the same at her age - it seems to be a really common problem.

Fingers crossed that Rachel continues to do so well - good to have another thing settled for her before baby arrives.

xxx

She is doing amazingly well isnt she, and so quick at picking it up too.
I'm sorry she's had an upset tummy, i hope she is feeling better now?
Could have just been something she ate, or a 24 hour bug going round.. but hopefully, in a good way, it has had a positive effect on her doing no 2's from now on.
Are you giving her those laxatives still to help?

I took her off them a week ago, to see how it went. I went back to the chemist and they told me that it was only a stool softner not a laxative so I could keep her on it as long as I want ???????? not sure about that one, still sounds un-natural to me. I going to see how it goes.

She is much better today.
