during the day max wears underpants, but at night or during nap time i put pull ups on him. i've heard different opinions about pull ups, but was wondering what your opinion is. do you do the same for your lo?

I have tried pull ups on ds but he drinks so much orange juice that he wee's straight through them at night, still haven't mastered the night time yet will keep trying as he is having more dry nights now.
He wears little boxer shorts through the day as he is dry during the day, they look so cute

I used pull ups at bed time and nap time.  I thought pull ups would leak in the night but it was a good way and a good starting point to limit drinks during the day and get into a routine to stop wet beds when they wear pants in bed.

Rachel has her last drink between 5pm and 6pm with her tea.  She then has time to go to the loo a couple of times before lights out at 7pm.

My ds hardly eats anything the only thing he has lots of is juice, we have been to the hv and dr's and they have tried different things to help but nothing has, so i guess it means waiting until he is ready to eat more and drink less, he is dry mostly every day just not at night.

I still use pull ups for Joshua at night and he has been dry for ages during the day. At first they were really wet but did not leak at all, now I have most mornings where they r so dry and sometimes a little wet. Everytime he asks to go without his pull up on something happens and he resorts back to bed wetting and gets himself so upset. I have only ever let him go without a pull up for a couple of weeks the other month but we are back into pull ups now. Once I get his balance of meds right for sleeping I will try (if he still wants to) and let him go to bed without a pull up. He naps without and wakes if he needs a wee

Till Max has mastered daytime training I would keep hiom in his pull ups for bed. I think pull ups work better than nappies as they still feel its like big boy pants xxx

it's rare that max wets his pull ups at night. so i trust that's a good thing. do you think it's a good idea putting them on lo for daytime naps also?

I was always dead against pull ups but have had to buy them, we've
been trying to potty train thomas and it ain't happening. I decided to put
him in pull ups because at nursery he sees other kids going and asks to
go too and trying to get the nappy of was a pain in the bottom so now
he is in pull ups.
we have tried putting "big boy" pants on him but he then won't use the
toilet or potty and pees/poos himself.

i think pull ups at night (or for naps) is a good thing, at least if Max
does get up during there night, there is no fumling about with a nappy
and my worry would be that he might regress a little.

okay thanks for all your advice-you have put my mind at ease.

no max doesn't wee himself (alot) during nap time, but i admit to putting him in pull ups, just in case!!  i won't from now on. i s'pose there's only way he's gonna learn.
