we have been potty training max since he started nursery in january.  he surprised us all by getting used to the toilet quickly and letting us know when he needed to use it. 

however, i know this is normal, but he does have accidents now and then.  like just now he wee'd on the floor and then told me.  i think he got over excited at tom's new toy and just went, but i'm finding it frustrating that he can be 'dry' for weeks and then sometimes he can have upto 4 accidents in one day!!i know we're not s'posed to get angry but tbh i'm finding it hard now.  i ask him why he went, but of course he can't tell me, then i explain that it is dirty to wee on the floor.  usually, he tells me when he needs to go.

argghhhhhhh!!

does this happen with your lo? i would appreciate some advice.

yeah you're right.

max has been dry for a few days, then he had an accident right next to me.  i managed to keep my cool, but told him that he must use the toilet (it's just there).  he said 'sorry', and has been dry since.

Ah this is such a difficult stage for them to fully master. He will proberbly continue to have accidents for a while to come, but the older he gets the more he'll unerstand and instinct will tell him to immediatly go to the loo.

Harrison is 4 now and has been out of nappies for bed for over a year but he has times when he will wet the bed 2/3 times in a week.

It gets hard to hold you tonge and not shout, but it'll sort its self.
