lily has never liked a wet or dirty nappy

she has always told me immediately when shes filled her nappy

the potty has been around ages, we read the DK potty book for girls too-she likes it!

just lately shes asked to sit on the loo but hasn't gone

yesterday she said 'wee wee' i turned round and shed taken off all her clothes!

i carred her upstairs she sat on her baby seat on the loo and weed and clapped!

today she said wee and weed on her potty!

im just hoping shes ready for potty training as we get thru soooo many nappies!

what do you think?

I'd say that I hate you!

None of mine were anywhere near ready until 2 and a half!

She certainly does sound like she's more than ready to start big girls toilets now!!!

Normally age is irrelevant, as it depends upon the child as to when they start to get the feeling that they need to 'go' and are capable of holding that feeling untill they get to the toilet/potty.

It seems as though she understands this and can tell you when she needs to go so id carry on encouraging her.
Well Done to her, sounds as if you'll soon be nappy-free in no time at all!!!!!

Thats great i would def say she is ready.  ellen isnt interested in the potty or telling me she has done a wee wee.  She sounds all grown up well done lilly xxx

Sounds like she's ready!

Ella's obsession with the toilet is more to flush it than use it... which is nice!
