Keep smiling babe. Its hard when dads continually promise but dont deliver. I ve got one like that. when he first moved out, he would say he would call in the week to see them. they would wait by the front door, jumping up at all the cars that passed, the disappointment increasing. he would go a couple of weeks and just not bother. so after speaking to his mum (she gave him a talking to) i told him he was having the kids every Sunday. That went on for a while. Now its every other weekend as he has changed his jobs and works alternate weekends. Found out last weekend that he finishes by 2.30 so he could still see the kids, but cant be bothered. that says a lot doesnt it?
Havent had the full history of your horrid neighbours from hell, but pity the poor buggers they will be living next to in the future!!! as long as you are free of them thats all that matters!!
I think each generation that comes along has less and less respect for property and people. my kids leave their stuff in the garden, all over the floor and I could shout till I was a nice shade of aubergine and it wouldnt make the blindest difference. And the cheek that comes out of their mouths sometimes....have washed dd mouth out with soap and water once! she gave me such a blast of bad language and cheek-after being warned to pack it in- and didnt. so carried out the threat! she was politer for a short time!!! but in the long run it didnt solve anything.
Just take a deep breath, when theyre all asleep, and imagine yourself on some tropical beach, swinging in a hammock, aquamarine waves splashing on the golden yellow sand.........I'm there with you already!! Cocktail anyone??
