Yes I used to get them all the time.
My situation is quite embarassing really. I can't stand for long periods of time and I hate people in my personal space. I have fainted at least 5 times on a commuter train into London. The last time was frightening because I passed out stepping off the train onto the Battersea platform. I would've gone down the gap if two rather dashing young city gents didn't catch me in time. It was lovely coming round and staring into the eyes of two good looking city-types!!!lol

It was after the last incident that I went to see a doctor. At the time I was convinced I was diabetic as diabetes is prevalent in my family. So my bloods were taken, but came back negative. Then I explained how I felt when I passed out and the doctor immediately diagnosed me as suffering from panic attacks. If I queue for anything more than 10 mins I get white spots before my eyes and then I black out. It is horrible, and so embarassing, I wish I had some control over this condition but I don't. I have been known to leave queues to come back on another day when it is quieter. If I can't get a seat on a train I will sit on the floor or depart it at the next available stop. London was a nightmare for people invading my space so I would leave my house 30 mins early to miss rush hour, but it meant I was always the first one in work and the last to leave.
I never recieved any advice on how to treat it. I used to carry some water and a health bar with me to keep my blood sugar up, a mobile phone to dial for help and take long, controlled breaths. Oh, and tried to think happy thoughts (lol). If you are getting persistent attacks I would go back to the doctor to rule out anything medically wrong with you. I hope you get some help soon.
