Hi all.

Well im just coming to the end of my 2nd week of my anti d's (Citalopram) Im feeling a little better and will get sudden rushes of energy and urge to do stuff.  I will then do stuff like hoover the car at 10pm (dont ask) but then the low i feel afterwards as horrific.  There are a few things im not sure of and a few side effects that are not listed so here we go lol.

Can i take parecetemol (sp) whilst on them as they give my a few headaches.

Forgetfullness is a common side effect i am suffering from but over the last few days i have forgotten how to WALK.  And mid flow as well.  I will be walking and i will just forget where my feet should by and i just fall down.  I have a huge bruise on my back and leg.

I have very itchy boobs!!

And last of all my sense of smell and taste have gone nutty.  Everything smells different (worse) and everything tastes like crap.

But it gets better.

Right????

Love Trudi.  xx

Hi Trudi. Glad you are feeling a little better...

Does the leaflet that came with the tablets say that you shouldn't take paracetamol? If not, I would think you would be OK. I'm on a different anti depressant, but I can take paracetamol with mine.

When are you due at your doctors for a review? It would be worth mentioning all of these side effects to him/her. I did find that I had energy rushes with mine and yes- they do settle down I promise!

Awww pet I really hope that you will get better soon.

If these meds work you will look back on these hard times and laugh, and think how worth it all was, because you will be your old self again.

Just to let you know I think you are a very strong and brave woman and I really admire you. Sorry if that sounds a bit corney.
