Ryan seems to have developed a mild rash around his mouth this morning
He had his MMR 8 days ago & i'm wondering if that might be responsible. It looks similar to heat rash. He hasn't eatien anything unusual today & its been a few months since he had excema on his face
My Auntie is taking him out this afternoon, if this is a mild MMR reaction is there anything else i should tell her to look out for? - mild or serious so that she knows how to deal with it

Funny you should mention that.Harry also has a rash around his mouth today so it could be a reaction to mmr. Its red and very small lumps, like heat rash as you say. As it isn't bothering him, I have just left it. He also has a few red blotches on his arms. Yesterday he had a very high temp so I gave him calpol. At the moment blaming mmr for all these things.

Lol im the same Harrysmum, every cry or whinge is being blamed on the MMR
I guess it could be teething although hes never had any problems with the 8 teeth he has. Its gradually spreading up his left cheek now & he's jusat been a bit sick

Forgot to say Harrys also had lots of horrible smelly nappies since his jab. If it continues I will have to visit the drs while i'm at my mums but most of the time he is quite happy so I haven't been unduly concerned.

Sounds like the same as Lily had P after her MMR
Just tell your aunt to keep an eye on it - Lilys became very very angry looking around her neck but after a trip to the docs they said there was nothing that I could do and it would calm down - which it did.

Oh dear don't tell me these things... Travis has his MMR today at 10 to 5!
Hope Ryan and Harry get better soon. If you are really worried P, make a dr appt. I wouldn't know what the MMR rash looks like, but I'll question the nurse today

Its difficult coz in the couple of weeks following the mmr we put everything that happens down to it.
If it is the MMR rash then its harmless. Keep an eye on his temperature and if you are worried about him take him to the gp or call NHS direct (0845 4647).

Aww good luck Lorna im sure Travis will be fine - Ryan didnt even cry with his jag
Iv actually found the majority of the MMR threads on here really reassuring & besides the 1st nite where i just couldnt stop giving him cuddles i havent really gave the jag much thought
