at the start of the year my auntie was told that she had lung cancer. she decided she did not want any treatment as she had just watched her mother go through cancer and the treatment(she died) and decided that she wanted to be able to do all the things she wanted before she died without being tied down with a treatment that might not work.

well today she had an appointment with her consultant thinking that he was going to give her an idea of how long shes got left. well he gave her the best news in the world....

shes in remission thats without having any treatment she cant believe it the dr cant believe it we are over the moon.

my dads mum has lung cancer too.

Those are great news!! It's the first time I hear something like that... She and the rest of you must be so relieved!

I'm glad that your aunty has had some remarkable news... are the members of your family are coping ok, how is your dad's mum doing?

It's got to be hard on the whole family, dealing with any form of cancer is hard and its sometimes harder for other family members than those diagnosed.

I'm glad that your family is finally getting a break from bad news. Hope it all continues that way and i wish you all the best.

my nan is not very well at all, she coughs up blood all the time and is very frail. we have lost lots of family 2 this dreadful disease so its nice to know someone can survive it.
