Well bang goes my idea for a lazy(ish) morning tomorrow lol.

The hozzie phoned just before we were going into town...my surgery has been brought forward.

So I have to be there at 7.30am..how inhuman am i going to be!  No surgery is done before 10am..but they want me in at half 7..so its nil by mouth for me from midnight tonight.

So feel sorry for the nurses tomorrow morning cos im inhuman in the morning until ive had 3 brews!!

So its been a mad rush round this afternoon for me..finishing off bits and bobs, repacking my bag, ironing done and put away all the usual stuff...

So there we go ladies...when you all wake up tomorrow morning i will either be cursing the nurses cos i cant have a brew or ill be away in la-la land on anaesthetic woohooo.

So youd all better...charge your mugs with a brew and have lots of them for me...bonus is...i can have a bacon and egg roll for when i come round woohoo for me

I know...its just wrong...they just have no idea how evil i am lol...fiver says im first on the list!

I asked them about my tamoxifen..as the nurse previous had said to take it before half 7 as then i had to be in for 12...so she asked the sister and she said not to take it..and when i come round it will be the first thing the shove down my throat when i get onto the ward.  I did say i know it sounds silly but....i dont want to miss a dose etc..so shes written it down on my notes that as soon as I come back up they feed it to me...as well as the strawberry jelly.

At least by me going down first thing, ill be semi-lucid by the middle of the afternoon (fat chance lol) so at least when it gets to the time that joe has to come home hell be happier knowing that im awake(ish) and able to do stuff..rather than be completely out of it and not know whats going on

Aww all i can say is give em hell and goodluck.

I remember when i had my op. I sat in that pre op room with a young lad next to me. He said he was bricking it and i asked what he was having done. He said my Wisdom teeth out. I laughed at him and told him i was having my pelvis broke in 3 places and my hip pinned. he soon felt better pmsl.

Chin up babe and get plenty of rest no matter how much you want to do something. xxxx

Argh....no brew.

Gonna stay in bed till 10 tomorrow just so I don't inadvertently get caught in the cross fire of steph's wrath.

Seriously good luck hon, and you're right get that tamoxifen in there.

K
