Hi ladies I'm wondering if anyone can help me out.  Since having my 5th child and being sterilised, my periods are getting lighter, but the pain each month is getting horrendous.  I used to have monthly's that lasted 7 days of heavy loss, now I am down to just about loss on day one, stale loss day 2, fresh loss day 3, then just a mark on day 4, but the pain I have before each period is driving me nuts, I can't seem to shift it.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hun i'd have a word with your gp as he might have a few more idea's as i've got brain freeze and can't think of any.

Hope you get answers soon though hun.... are bodies are amazingly complex things! I never knew or realised so many things could go wrong!

Hun my mum was streralised and she went from one extreme to another. She bled heavily anyway but this was just silly! SHe even ended up in hospital with the pain it was so bad. They scanned her and everything and nothing would show up. In the end they kept telling her it was in her head!

So eventually after suffering for countless years we managed to get her to go back. They found she had thyroids.

In the end she had to have a hystrectomy.

I would def go and see your gp and keep pushing if you don't get answers xxxxxx

Since my last mc I am kind of the same as you.  I have always found though the lighter the loss the worse the cramps.  I get pain all in my stomach, back and down my legs.  I just take paracetamol and try and ignore it but some nights I just roll around in bed groaning it can be so bad.  I don't have any advice really.

Emma I think you mean fibroids, your thyroid is in your neck

I couldnt tell you chick, mine were always evil, painful and heavy..and turned up as and when they felt like it.

If its constant pain, go see your gp and dont be fobbed off with 'womens troubles' could be cysts just playing you up, could be anything.  But, if its cheesing you off go see your doc....mine keep asking me about mine..and keep telling him i havent got the bits and bobs anymore lol
