Sorry i didn't post yesterday i was in far to much pain to sit at the pc for any length of time.

Well my consultant wasn't in so i wasn't happy before i was even seen. Anyway i went for an x-ray and everything is showing up fine.

I explained the pain i was in and she couldn't understand why. This is my consultants registrar or whatever they are called.

So i have now been pushed through for an urgent scan which i have to wait for. So another CT scan. If that doesn't show up the problem i then have to have ink injected into my hip to see if that shows up the problem. I'm just so tired and frustrated now.

I didn't sleep well last night as the pain is now in my whole leg. Thing is when you tell them where the pain is and what its like why do they have to upset it again? I was finally being able to cope with it and now i'm in agony all over again! SO here i go again! More hospital appointments for god knows how long.... I'm just dreading how many more times i will have to come home without answers and still be in this much pain!!!

Hug hug hug hug hug hug (these are very gentle cos i know ur in a lot of pain!)

I can understand how frustrated you are at being in so much pain and getting nothing and nowhere.  Its horrid when you cant get to sleep or even get comfy for the pain and nothing will aleviate that, and sometimes the only way you will get sleep is through sheer exhaustion.  I hope that you get sorted quickly hunny and you know where I am xxxxx

I have so much sympathy for you!

I hate going to see a consultant - and then finding out he isnt even in the building! I hate the fact that when you say it hurts when I lift my leg, they lift your leg to check. Or poke at the point it hurts. I hate the long waiting lists and the never ending scans.

I just hope they get the results soon and get you sorted - and in the mean time your pain reduces to a more managable level.

Big (but gentle) hugs!

Emma, im sorry you didnt get any answers today hun, but on the bright side.. even with all the messing around there putting you through, your being investigated and hopefully it shouldnt take too long for the scans and tests to come through and get you sorted!
Fingers crossed they wont make you wait long, i hope the pain eases asap, and you find a little comfort soon.
Take things easy chick.

Thank you all for your kind words.

If this doesn't make sense then its because i have taken dihydracodiene as i am in too much pain. I feel so sick and spaced out. I wouldn't mind but i can't sleep again and the tablets haven't even touched the pain. I'm going to have to go and see the gp tomorrow i think.

Thing is i have got partys on all weekend and a meeting tomorrow night so i can't take any.

I just wish this was over but i don't think it ever will be. I'll always be restricted to what i can do. Before i managed to start running again now i can hardly walk never mind run. It just frightens me. What can i do if one of the girls ever decided to run off or worse into the road? I know there isn't anything i could do as i would just end up on the floor.

God i'm sorry i'm ranting again! Thanks ladies for being pacient with me! xxxx
