Everytime I feel like something is working, it has to be changed.
When I started taking the PCOS medication late last year I started having headaches. I tried to live with them, they were more bearable than the PCOS pain (which the medication kept at bay). Then when I came off the medication for the hormone tests they eased up but never went. My doctor then thought it could be completely unrelated, and advised me to have an eye test.
I had my eyes tested today and although it has thrown up some complications she wants further investigating, they were not the cause of my headaches. She thinks its the medication I am taking, but because of the headaches she said my eyes have been straining and I am going to have to wear glasses full time, and have a different prescription. She strongly advised I went back to my GP and discuss changing the medication. She said its a vicious circle now because the medication causes me headaches, my eyes strain and so my glasses aren't helping, so I get another headache. The new glasses will only help so much, if I keep straining then they aren't going to help my vision.
Im to wait until the end of the week before making an appointment to make sure he has got her recommendations through the post. I hope I dont have to start the never ending cycle of finding medication that works, its already taken 3 years to get to a pain free point and I was just starting to have regular cycles again.
