For everyone needing to lose that last bit of baby weight or even just get toned up a little walking really does work

During the heat wave i went out for a walk everyday with Ryan - bear in mind Scotland only had about 10 days of sun lol

In the last few days iv been asked if iv been working out & told that my bum looks tighter & my legs look thinner off different people, none of them my dp

So in future im gonna walk everywhere possible, talk about a confidence boost

I have hardly walked round anywhere since i passed my test a year ago, do Asda or the Trafford Centre count?

Good for you though P, they say that walking is the best form of exercise, so i really should take more of it up

I've only just seen this!  Well done P!  I also know the benefits of walking as my sister started walking every day ages back!  She started at just 5 mins per day then every week increased it by a minute until she reached 20 mins, now she does about 40 mins a day though but she is toning up and has lost a couple of dress sizes!  ON the down side she is still struggling to control her eating!  Whereas I smoke, she comfort eats.  She's getting there, and I'm looking forward to the cold crisp month of October, so taht I can go out with a walking Fred pushing baby Winston, even if it's just a couple of times a week, it will do me and them the world of good!

Come to think of it, I can walk up the track to collect the older kids once they start school again in September.  I'm another one that believes cars were invented to save my legs! lol
