Feel bad that I've come on hear to moan!

I've got very few probs compared to many. In fact I'm doing relatively well at the moment considering I have a diagnosis of bipolar and have been med free since I took a very small overdose (one extra tablet) when my DD was about 8 months old.

I am currrently doing an Access Course and have a conditional if I pass both the course (I hope so) CRB check (which is no probs) and a health check late August. I just lately started to wonder & worry if I am "A" doing the right thing by returning to education as my DP has mental health issues which have deteriorated since I returned & if my DD aged 3 and a half would be better off with me at home as she still ain't potty trained yet. She'll go for nursery & grandma but only occassionally for me & rarely for my DP. I also have started to worry if the NHS could "fail" me on account of my diagnosis.

Hey, I feel like telling my self to stop moaning & pull my self together!

I think you'll be fine, and that you know the course will be good for you.

Your wee one will thrive under the care of the nursery and gran- it'll bring on her toilet training I'd bet too!

Don't feel bad at all- it sounds like you've been through loads recently and need to think about yourself and what you want from life for a bit.  I think you'll be fine!  Access courses are difficult and you've done well to get through it.

Awww hun firstly your problems may seem small to you when you compair them to someone else but they are still problems and ones that are casuing you concern and worry so please don't feel bad.

Have you thought about chatting to your gp about your concerns.... as they might contact them for a report on how things are and how you are handling bits and bobs. If your open and frank then it shouldn't be too bad and he/she might beable to put your mind at rest.

Your doing very well to be off all meds and going back to the college courses, it must take a lot of will power and determination. Your worries about family etc are normal every one has them even us who are classed as normal! lol. The truth beinng that have you spoken with your dp about his decline. As for your lo doing the potty bits for others..... it might be that she still wants to be your baby.... and she's scared. Talk to her and even if this sounds wierd and tmi.... go to the toilet together, you on loo her on potty...... might reassure her.

Hope your course goes well.... how long have you got left on it?

Hugs hun and just go with the flow...... it's all you can do...... x

Thanks for the replies.

The course finishes on the 13th June, then there's two weeks for re-sits if needed.

DP was doing relatively well until he was discharged from therapy & on the same day was told he had slightly high cholesterol & was a tad overweigh. The GP is not very worrried & said as long as he makes some slight diet improvements & joins the local council gym will be fantastic, but DP gets terribly anxious. It is affordable financially as he could get membership for just £2 a year then £2.70 a session plus its on the same site as DDs nursery and DP has been dropping her off. Saying that DPs attitude is for me to carry on studying.

Feeling a little better this am & will get my head into my books shortly.
