I'm doing ok but I had to come off my setraline as it was giving me serious side effects. I was shaking, having massive panic attacks and this sense of complete doom. I honestly thought I was loosing my marbles. After a lot of phoning the gp's they told me not to take anymore as of yesterday.
It was so bad yesterday, I had to get Andy to come home and he is off until Monday. If I don't feel more relaxed by tomorrow, I'm going back to the gp to see if they will put me on amytriptilene as I know it works for me.

As i've heard said on here, what works perfectly for one person doesn't always have the same desired effect on another.
Dont be disheartend by this minor set back Hazy.. your doing so well.
I'm sure after a little trial and error, there will be something out there to suit you!
If you know something works well already, then its probably best to stick with that one.
Good luck.

Aww Hazy at least you will get sorted now, i was on Sertraline and found no problems besides the fact i lost my appetite and lost weight! I have also used amytriptaline which worked for a while for me and if it works for you it would be the best move!

Don't be disheartened at this tiny setback, i am sure you will be on the right road soon xxxx hugs

So sorry to hear that you are having terrible side effects. Hope your gp can sort you out. When i started on setraline a few months ago I felt really strange for about 2 weeks, really sleepy and also some shakes but luckily it sorted itself out also felt really weird when I stopped taking them for about a week.

Take care and I really hope you get something that works for you xxxxx

Much better today. Been to Gp again (will be sick of me soon) and have been put on 50mg of amytriptiline so I know I will get better now as they have always helped me in the past.
