I've been on Cipramil anti-depressants for 2 weeks now.  However, from day one I've been experiencing dizziness (no comments-please) and extreme tiredness.

Yesterday I came over all funny and slept from 4pm til 9pm and then went back to bed at 10pm and slept all night through!!!  I didn't even hear Max around midnight crying!  My mum went into him instead.

My mum has also commented on my 'poor concentration span'.  She says that she can be talking to me and I don't hear her.  I really don't hear her and it's scaring me!!

Apart from these worrying side effects I've been fine on them.  Haven't cried since starting them and I feel stronger and more positive already.

Does anyone on anti-ds have these symptoms?  If so, what did you do?

check your leaflet, go back and see the doc and see if he can change them to something else, it may be that they are not quite right for you.  Either that or your normal self is coming back........you always were a bit loopy or was that just my influence ahem.

Seriously though, go back and see your doc.  They should be starting to take effect on you now or over the next week or so.  It could be that they are working their magic and readjusting your hormones, hence the need for sleep..best way for the body to repair itself.

I have all those and more.  They are stated as side effects on my leaflet in the box.

Love Trudi.  xx
