So it has now been 4 wks postpartum. I ve been stressed and all that is normal yes. I havent gotten depressed and was managing the baby blues for the last weeks now. Finally my baby girl has stopped crying. When will she get up next? I have finally gotten to the end of my rope...told dh to take a hike since hes not been there physically for the baby and I. I cant even complain to him how tired i am now..and he left for work as always. I am still here with the baby as if we know no other life beings on the face of this earth. Everytime someone comes to take care of her to give me a break..critisms come rushing in...I am a bad mom! I dont know what the heck im doing..and worse off..she doesnt cry with others as she does with me.>>>>>>>>get to the point...  I should give her away to hands that knows best. I give up. I dont have anything to live for really. Im gonna wander off  and wish i dont have to look back now. Poor baby, i really love her so much and i shouldnt even feel this way but like i said, im a terrable mother. cant do anything right.

No you can, and are doing things right.  You sound like you have an illness, and you can get help and feel better, you MUST put an appointment on at your doctors and speak to them as soon as possible.  You need to do this for yourself and for Kaitlyn.  Lina- many of us have felt this way, you are not alone in your feelings.  Have you told your family or friends how you feel?

Lina, please listen to what everyone is saying.

You are NOT a bad mother.

You are suffering from an illness that is NOT YOUR FAULT.

You MUST get some help, for your sake and Kaitlyns.

Please, please, get to your doctors as soon as you can. You have your daughter to live for. She needs you for a very long time. She'll cry more for you because she picks up on your upset and even at this young age she empathises with you. It's not because she prefers others. Also, she can smell your milk the whole time, and may well fuss for that. My eldest was just the same.

You're not alone Lina, I just wish you were in this country then we could all come over and hug you and take you to the doctors ourselves.

You are definately not a bad mother and you should not call yourself one. You have just gone through one of the biggest changes in your life. Things aren't going to be the same again, also dh needs to realise this. Please go to the doctors or your equivalent to a health visitor. They will listen and help you.

Please take care. Sending you hugs and kisses xxxx

You can get anti-d's that are fine whilst breastfeeding.  It takes a wee while to get them into your system, but then you'll have more good days than bad.  It can take a while but you do get there, honest.  xxx
