my dh woke up with a sore back last weds, it has progressively gotten worse to the point where he can hardly move. i took him to the gp today as he has had to wait till today for an appointment.

well he has either slipped a disc or its prolapsed. just getting him to the drs has taken all his energy and he was almost in tears and this is a man who never complains about his health etc.

im worried about him but also gutted lol coz its my birthday on saturday and we were supposed to be going out friday night which would of been the first time we have been out on our own since we have been married( 3 years).

oh well....

Hun get him to a chiropractor, they can be pricey but well worth it, my dad has done this several times, just sneezing does it.....

Might even get him upright so he can prop up the bar!

What has the Gp told you to do, if you'd like any suggestions hun pm me and i'll wrack my brains for ideas to help.

Good luck and i hope you have good birthday (ps. this doesn't give him an excuse for getting out of a card... he can make one with paper and crayons on his back!)

Keith suffers with his back too if your dh is tall they are more prone to it.  Keith goes to a really good chiropracter who is alos a physiotherapist.  His chiropracter is blind and is really good.  He used to go to another chriopracter but they weren't very good.  This new one when Keith hurts himself has it fixed in one session, well worth the money it normally costs about £25.00.  We have found the dr's aren't all that helpful as all they do is give painkillers and wait for it to get better.
