Try taking a bath and some paracetamol and lying down for a bit.  If they are braxton hicks they'll go away.  Braxton hicks aren't normally painful, so it could be round ligament pain which is more common with subsequent pregnancies.  I had an attack of this pain in the middle of Asda and had to abandon my trolley!

But, if in doubt at all, or if they start to follow a pattern, give the ward a phone just to put your mind at ease.

Let us know how you get on.

It started a couple fo weeks ago with an achy bump in the evening now they come on and off throughout the day. They are bearable but still not very nice! Will speak to mw if they do get any worse. Thanks for advice.

It sounds like it hun. They are just trial runs getting ready for the real thing. /they say the more babies you have the worse they get for some reason. Some people suffer with them and others don't. They can be uncomfortable but usually they are ok. xxx
