I have gone through this pregnancy fairly ache free, just the odd sciatica pain till this week. It started off with extremely painful piles, which I can just about cope with but Ive now started getting really bad pain in my hips, bum and tops of my legs. Its absolute agony. I can hardly move at the moment after carrying Zarah downstairs from her nap. I don't know what Im going to do if this carries on for the next 4 weeks, as I have to carry Zarah up and downstairs etc.. I'm feeling really guilty as the kids want me to come and play but I just can't get on the floor with them and when I do its hurts to get up.This is worse than any other aches and pains I had with the other 2 pgs.
Sorry for the major moan, I just needed to let it all out or I'll probably just sit here and cry!

The pain is getting unbearable at the moment and I still have 3 weeks left to go! I can't walk when it kicks in and can't carry Zarah, it hurts that much I screamed and cried ewith pain for the first time last night. Night time seems to be the worst time and I don't know what to do. I feel so useless.

Can you go to your Gp and get some cream and pain meds.....no point in suffering like this. I hope you feel better really soon.

I had piles after Rachel, horrible would be mild to describe them. I found a luke warm bath helped but then again I was no longer pregnant.

As for the rest of the pains....try and rest.....poor you.

Feel better soon.

There isn't much that you can do, I was like that with both my last 2 pg's I was walking with my legs apart, couldn't stand for long as it hurt, couldn't sit down either, and going on the floor was a definite no no. I think the reason it hurts more at night is the wear and tear during the day. You need to rest, is there anyone near you family or friend who can give you some help at this time?

Hi hun if your having pain i would suggest seeing your midwife or gp to make sure that the pains are normal and nothing sinister....

But to be safe and not sorry would you consider following or trying the things that help those with spd as you've mentioned problems with stairs and other areas just thinking there might be bits you can try that might help you and your condition too.

Take care hun xx
