At last! hehe! Been waiting impatiently to hear from the midwife - she's only in on a Monday, so only got my details yesterday. She's coming out to see me today, and get a scan date organised, since I'm not sure how far on I am. I also want to make sure there's only one baby in there, since I've had 24 hour nausea and sickness, am out of most of my jeans already, I'm 35 and my mum is a twin! Oh, and I'm almost positive I can feel movement - am sure I've felt it for the last 5 or 6 days.

Anyway - will let you know how I get on. Am so excited - it's almost like it's my first pg again!lol

xxx

Midwife has been - here for about 90 mins! Went through all the usual form-filling etc - took blood, bp etc. Ordering dating scan asap - though thinks I must be between 9 and 12 weeks - as no sign of womb above my pelvis yet. Wouldn't commit herself to saying that that means there is only one baby though! hehe - I did try to pin her down, but only a scan will show that for sure. Let's hope I don't have to wait as long as dh is waiting to hear about his MRI scan!!

Did suggest I might consider a home birth, which I would love, but at the moment Gav's not keen. I have straightforward fast deliveries with the other three - the midwife thinks it would work well for me (as long as everything goes to plan with the pg obviously). So, I've got a while yet to work on Gav lol!

Hope your scan goes well when the appointment comes through.

I was supposed to have a home birth but due to a complicated 3rd trimester I my mw wouldnt support me, which was fair enough!

Hope you manage to twist your dh's arm!
