Ok, my big sis is currently 32+5.  It's her 3rd pg and her current youngest is 6.5yrs, so it feels like her first pg all over again.

She was informed at a scan eight weeks ago that the baby is breech and is measuring two weeks bigger than her edd that was given at her first dating scan.

She had another scan on Fri, and was told the baby is still breech and she is now measuring 3 weeks bigger that her dates.

She has to see the consultant on Friday for another scan and a chat, she is wondering what will happen.  There was a brief mention of a c-section which she is dead set against as she cant afford not to drive especially as i cant drive either.

Is there anyway you can help to turn a breech baby?  I know that sometimes the consultant can attempt to turn it but is there anything that the mum can do too?

On all fours rocking can help turn baby, also feet up on the sofa, back on the floor and resting there for a while can help encourage baby to turn.

If you believe in the alternative methods, reflexology claims it can help, as does accupuncture.

Something cold where baby's head is could encourage baby to turn to the warm!

You say the scan was 8 weeks ago? Are they sure baby is still breech? Liam was breech at 28 weeks and turned at about 34 weeks! There is still plenty of time for baby to turn, they can do it at the very last minute!

Fingers crossed for your sister!

She had another scan on Friday and the baby was still in the same position.  I know they have plenty of time to turn but she's convinced it'll stay put where it is.
