Has anyone had a single pregnancy after a twin pregnancy??

If so did you find the normal aches and pains and maybe the spd a lot worse than you have had before??

This is my 4th pregnancy first 2 were single's 3rd was twins and omg i can honestly the amount of stretching pains and usual preggie pains is a lot worse than i had in any of my other pregnancies.. Also the SPD is hurting me like mad!!

I honestly thought my body would be stretched enough now after carrying two babies at once to accomadate just 1 baby and i wouldnt suffer that much so am wondering if it just my body or any1 else had the same??

Hun i can't vouch for the birth of twins and the stresses and strains complaired to a normal 1 child pg.

As for the spd that isn't normally governed by the number of children you are having as it's to do with how lax your ligaments and core muscles are and not quanity (hope this is making sense).... You need to see a physio to get the exercises to help try and improve your core muscles etc...... also a chiropractor, although private, if you find one who specalises in pregnancy related conditions can be worth there weight in gold.....

Hope this helps a little.

I haven't had twins, but I can categorically tell you my last 2 pregnancies were very painful. I like you thought my body didn't need to stretch any more, but I had braxtons from about 20 weeks, but more pain than I thought humanly possible, that labour was a breeze in comparison. If you are at all worried though definitely see a gp.
