This is a tough one to write, I am a week late for my af, after having the usual signs of being on anyday well over a week ago, and having been sterilised after having Winston didn't think I would need this kind of advice.  I am 1 week late for my af, and am in no rush to find out why.  The last 2 pg's were very stressful times, and I really feel that if I did a test I would need to make a decision as to what to do.  For those of you who don't know me, I have 3 teenagers, and my 2 lo's will be 2 & 3 this year.  Both the little ones have speech problems and are ahowing definite signs of ocd, or limited learning.  The thought of possibly having another child fills me with dread.  I know my mental health wouldn't be able to cope with another pregnancy, and saying that I don't think my marriage would either.  I don't want to have to test, and will be leaving it another week before doing anything about it, unless i start getting excessive pains.  I know the possiblility of having an ectopic pg is high.  I know I've been feeling different about myself recently, but I am bricking it.  I didn't know where to put this post and I really didn't want to write it, I am just asolutely lost, but don't have the time to think rationally these days.

Vix i don't have any advice hunny i'm afraid. Maybe your body has decided to go through a slight change. That could be the reason why its making your af late.

Fingers crossed hun its nothing but your body having a funng spat.

I would leave it a little longer but if it gets to worrying the only way to know is do the test.

Let us know hunny! xxxx

Its a toughie alright, I was, in fact, talking about getting sterilised last night and my mam said she had an ectopic pregnancy as a result and had to have a full hystorectomy.

Hope af is just making you wait, and we are here for you hunny, Im afraid I also cannot offer any advice only that I am here as a friend, if ever you should need me xxxx

I'm sorry, I have no advice either - just wanted you to know I am thinking of you. What a difficult thing to be dealing with. I hope your af is just late, doll.

Awww hugs hun..... give it till next week then if no sign pop and see your gp as it might be (no offense meant) the change or pg they both are a puzzle..... af might just be late due to stress and running around from hospital appointment to hospital appointment.

Hope all is ok.... chat soon and i'll keep my fingers crossed for a positive but safe and happy outcome.

If i was you i would have to test or i would drive myself crazy thinking about it, if and when its negative you can relax and af will proberbly rear her ugly head but if it is positive you will have time to think through the situation.

I would guess you are just late because of all the stress you are going through but i would need to know.

Good luck xxx

The only way to find out is to test, but you know that already.  You probably aren't pregnant it wasn't that long ago that you were late and worrying yourself silly before and you weren't pregnant then.

I know its hard but the only way you'll find out for certain is if you test. I've had a few times when I've been a couple of weeks late and its difficult. All the tihngs going through your head, what ifs? But the only way to deal with it is to test. If you go to gp, the first thing they'll ask is have you tested? and will offer you one if not.
I know this isn't much help, but hope you find some answers soon.
