The placenta is lying low (prob contrabuted to bleed) so got another scan in may. Also saw consultant to discuss the birth coz lotte was emergency c sec, so really confused as what to decide on. do i elect for c sec or try again? any ideas? had really bad time with lotte (long labour)and real bad depression and shock/panic attaks after birth.

But anyway really chuffed and so is hubby

Awwww bless you hunny i'm glad everything has healed up now.... and there seems to be no other problems.....

Your tumb sucking pink bundle looks so sweet.....

As for the birth hun i don't know what to suggest it's a difficult decision but i'd recommend you go with your heart if you want to try again do it..... if not no one is going to think any less of you hun... did they send you home with tons of information about the pros and cons of both after a previous section?

I've never had a section so i don't know if it makes a lot of difference to them or not.

Good luck hun and i hope the weeks start to fly by and big sis lotte doesn't get too bored waiting!

I am in the same situ as you with them wanting me to hav a poss c section due to the lil man being born with shoulder dystocia, I have to hav growth scans from 30 weeks but hav made up my mind if at all poss I want to try for a natural delivery, as zany said, best thing to do is go with your heart, and talk thru any concerns with your docs xx

AW THANKS EVERYONE... I HAD CHAT WITH HUBBY AND HE THINKS I SHOULD OPT FOR C SEC AND SOME FRIENDS HAVE SAID THE SAME( THEY CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY I WOULD WANT TO DELIVER IF I DON'T HAVE TOO), BUT AM GOING TO LEAVE MY DECISION FOR A WHILE AND SPEAK TO M/W ABOUT THE DEPRESSION SIDE AS I THINK THAT IS MY MAIN CONCERN, AND ANYWAY IF PLACENTA DON'T MOVE THEN I HAVE NO CHOICE ANYWAY, SO WAIT AND SEE. HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT C SEC IS NOT AS PAINFUL IF YOU DON'T LABOUR FIRST ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE COZ OMG WAS IT PAINFUL THE LAST TIME.

Awwww congrats on your beautful little bubba- to- be, I bet your getting excited now

I had an emergency caesarian with my first daughter because she was breech and when I got pregnant with Millie I was determined right from the start that I didn't want another one (hated being so delicate for so long, having to stay in hospital for 4 days etc etc). Fortunately everything went to plan with her position etc and I went into labour normally last Monday morning. Despite the fact my labour was quite slow (I didn't actually deliver until 9.11pm on Tuesday) I managed a normal delivery with just gas and air and I'm so glad I did! I didn't feel out of it for as long as I did with the section; I was up and showering within the hour. I have got some stitches on my girly bits, but the discomfort and feeling of fear (I was always scared of spliting my stitches with my cs) is so much less. We came home the following day, which was lovely cos it meant I got to be back with DH and DD. I know everyone's experience is different, but for me personally, I would choose a natural birth over the caesarian 100% everytime.

Congrat's what a lovely picture  !  As for the c-section  I had  one with both of my little's and  the recovery was much easier on me the 2nd time with my ds who will be 6 month's in a few day's .  Good luck with the deciding what to do , it was never a choice I got to make  myself , my baby's were to big for me as  I am only  4 ''11  and they both were 7 pound's 9 oz.  each and 19 and 21 inches long .  Jen

Oh your bubba is lovely - what a great scan picture. I had a low lying
placenta with my first which wasn't diagnosed until I started to bleed
heavily! I did manage to deliver normally - but only after 3 days of
bleeding and living on a drip! I'd go for the C-section ( although I've
never actually had one!) The worry I had was awful. Good luck. x
