hi all, hope you are all ok. anyway, i have just  found out i am pregnant. i didnt believe it at first but after the 2 positive tests i kinda thought that it must be for real.

I have kind of mixed feelings about it. I have had 3 miscarriages (1 in 2004, 1 in 2007, and 1 in jan 2008) and i am really scared i am going to lose this 1 too. I have been having pains like my period is going to arrive any minute for the last couple of days. does this mean i am losing this 1 too or are the pains normal??

I cant be happy about it, as awful as it sounds. but im scared to be happy about it incase i lose this baby too. :(

Sorry to ramble, forgot to add that  am not entirely sure when i am due as i cant remember exactly when my last period was...but i know it was early feb.

any advice would be very much appreciated xxx

Hun i'm not sure really what to say.....

Given your history i'd get to the gp and let them know your pg and see if they can get you booked for an early scan or something. I wish i could give you a hug and tell you all is going to be ok but we all know that might not be true but we do hope it is.... you deserve a break and a chance at happiness x

The pains your feeling might not be you miscarrying it might be implantation.... i do remember having bad cramps but if your in any doubt i'd say check with a doc/mw.

I'll have my fingers crossed hun and i'll send you lots of sticky baby dust your way..... good luck and rest up as much as poss.

Thinking of you hun x

AF type pains are very normal in early pregnancy as the cramping you get with af is similar to the stretching you get with a pregnancy.  I can totally understand how you are feeling.  If you can get an early scan you need it to be after 8 weeks preferably.  If you see a heartbeat after 8wks then that is a really good sign.  Good luck and let us know how you get on.
