I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders today! lol I got my letter back from the hospital with the results of my Triple blood test, which was done last Monday. As some of you will know, I've been really worried about the test this time round - don't know whether it's because I'm older or what - but I'm really paranoid! hehe

Anyway, the baby is not in the increased risk group for spina bifida, and is low risk for Down syndrome. It's such a huge relief as I didn't want to have to make the decision about an amnio, as someone I know had one the year before I had Cameron and miscarried afterwards due to contracting an infection. Her little boy was totally healthy. I know these tragic cases are very unusual, but it would have made our decision extremely difficult.

I am now bouncing about the house with my music on lol! Oh, and dh arrives home later for a few days holiday (he's been away since Sunday on a 4 week course, but has long weekend for Easter), so am doubly happy now!

xxx
