I have read so many websites to find out if I am carrying a girl or a boy. Can anyone tell me from their OWN experiences if there are any signs which tell you what sex you are carrying.
I am still early on in my pregnancy (6 weeks) so no idea if my belly will be shaped like a beachball or watermelon as they say. My first pregnancy was easy, morning sickness cleared up around lunchtime and lasted for 2 week max. With this one, I am vomitting morning, day and night or some days at least I feel as if I am going to vomitt. Love cheese biscuits, pizzas, but hate the smell of curries, especially meat ones. I feel awful during this pregnancy. I guess its too early to tell the sex. Just hope he or she will be healthy.

I wouldn't like to say one way or the other. All 3 of my pregnancies were so different.
1st one I had sickness and blew up like a beach ball. 2nd one I had mild sickness but hardly showed (both girls) and with number 3 I had no sickness but an enormous belly !

With me having 2 of each, there were certain differences between my pregnancys, but they may not be the same for anyone else. With my girls, i put on loads of weight especially around my hips and bottom and my bumps weren't that big, but with my boys i had a huge but neat bump upfront and hardly put on any weight myself. With the sickness, it was pretty much the same with them all. There is a myth about your cravings though... i think its sweet for a girl and savoury for a boy, but again, it could be completely different for everyone. x-x-x

different sickness levels wont really make a difference as to what your having. I had mild sicknes my lst pregnancy and had a lil boy, now this time as people on here will tell you, I was constantly sick as a pig for the first 3 months and have recently found out again im carrying a boy lol xx

I only have one child and I knew from very early on I was carrying a boy.
I didnt have any sexing scans and his heartbeat was between 138-142 and I was told 140 was the cut off (I think its below 140 is a boy and above is a girl) but I just knew!
I dreamt at 5 weeks, just after I found out, that there was a baby boy in there and that was it.
I think there is a lot to be said for motherly intuition!

LOL that would explain why I proved mum wrong who was adamant I was carrying a girl and I was adamant it was a boy despite everything being so different from the first time lol

I wish there was a way to tell lol! Am so desperate to know what I'm having! Counting down impatiently to my scan.
Every pregnancy has been different for me - I've had horrendous sickness with this one - stil have off days now, but up until about 17 weeks it was all day and night. I had a tiny bump with Cameron, but up until I found out I was pregnant I was at the gym every day, so think my stomach muscles were more toned than when I had the girls! Also, he was only 5lb 14 when he was born (girls were 7lb13 and 8lb11). Have a much bigger bump this time again!lol
I was the same as Amanda tho - I put on weight around my hips and bottom with the girls, but not at all with Cameron.
Cameron told me yesterday - "Mummy, you think you're having a boy but I know you're having a girl" - so looking forward to seeing if he's right! hehe
