hello everyone,

I had a slip on saturday which landed me in labour and delivery with pelvic pain ( i did the splits) and some contractions.

I had to have a follow up scan today to check on baby, and see the consultant after as previously arranged anyhow.

The scan went well, baby is healthy and happy, it has grown loads in the last 4 weeks. They did a growth scan whilst they were looking around to check no damage was done and baby is weighing approx 1lb6oz!

The consultant saw me and is happy with the outcome, it is slightly smaller than they predicted but within normal limits for me so i'm happy too! I had my glucose tolerance test results back too and they appear normal for then, however, i have to have a repeat test at 28 weeks. I have another growth scan at 32 weeks and then discuss the birth options.

All in all we are elated that baby is fine, and although i am very sore and have probably misaligned my pubic bone, i am coping well!

I will be having physio shortly!
