Soft Cheeses and Blue Veined Cheeses, they are not pasturised and so can cause food poisoning.
Raw or Runny eggs can cause food poisoning, this includes in home made mayonnaise or chocolate mousse, jar bought/shop bought mayonnaise is fine.
Pate, unless it is pastourised or labelled UHT as it can cause food poisoning.
Fish avoid shark, swordfish and marlin, and no more than two tuna steaks a week (weighing about 140g cooked or 170g raw) or four medium-size cans of tuna a week. This is because of the levels of mercury in these fish. At high levels, mercury can harm a babys developing nervous system. No more than 2 portions of Oily fish a week such like sardines.
Shell fish because of food poisoning.
Vitamin A as Vit A is to do with repair and developing cells in the body.
Alcohol over use of alcohol can cause fetal alcohol syndrome, no one really knows what affect alcohol has on the developing baby.
Smoking, try and give up if you can if not cut down as much as possible, starves the babies brain of oxygen and can cause baby to be very small.
Pre-washed salads, may contain listeria, salmonella or campylobacter bacteria.
Peanuts especially if you have asthma, exzema or hayfever in the family.
Herbal products, lots of herbs are used to bring on labour so should be avoided ie Raspberry Leaf Tea.
Any meats that are not cooked properly ie bar b q's.
Caffiene is ok in moderation.
