HI all

I though I would update you all as I had antenatal today!

I normally spend less than 10 mins with the mw, getting checked out and having bloods and stuff, but today she was obviously aware that I was stressed! Due dates being a major concern.  We had an excellent chat and shehas told me that I could go into labour a week before my dates and they won't stop me! so that is one weight off my mind, she has also stated that they won't induce me before their dates which is understandable.  I explained about doing 3 tests and only the 3rd one showed positive in October and she has accepted the fact that this has me confused, and was very understanding about it and can now see why I have been stressed!  She also is hoping that the blood test before the amnio proves to be fine as because of the dates she's notsure how accurate the test is gonna be!  She has also said that towards the end depending how things go she may request a scan for me just to check everything is fine!  She was definitely stumped about the pg test showing pos before I even conceiveed according to their dates as she said that getting a positive when negative is not likely to happen! Especially as I am most definately pregnant!  I am feeling absolutely fantastic as she is now listening to me!  She has also told me to phone the scan department up to find out when my next scan is as she would like it to be before my next appointment in 4 weeks!  So all in all a very good day! Well worth the bad moods of the last few days! lol

Really pleased she sat and listend to you vix. I can understand them not changing their dates. but at least they have given you some lea way. Well done on getting them to listen.

Awww Vix, Im so glad she is finally listening to you. Hopefully you will now start to relax a bit more and destress lol.....oh we going to see the baby within 4 weeks Im so excited lol...how far will you be by their dates in 4 weeks?

At least you are getting listened to now good for you maybe they will figure out a proper due date for you now.

Well done vic at least now your mind has been put at ease...

I never really saw my m/w as i spent most of my time having check ups at the hosp. obviously because it was twins. Is there no way they can def find out your dates as like you said you must be further than you think. Its poss to get a negative and be positive but not the other way around, i think anyway lol...

Well just glad you are feeling much better and hope you can keep it up hun lol...  keep us updated as i'm sure you will. I bet now though yours dates will change. xxx

Aww thats good that someone has shown u the time to listen with you.  Sometimes all there interested is getting one person in and another out.

i have my scan on friday i will be 13 weeks but my belly is massive i feel more like 25+ so really hoping its not twins but who knows.

glad you got it kinda sorted in the end vix and ur feeling much better
