in my first i had a few aches and pains but nothing major, im just wondering what its gonna be like when i have a huge bump if it hurts now!

sorry for rambling.

Well I definitely had more aches and pains during my second pregnancy
too- but if you are in any doubt talk it over with your mw- she'll be able
to reassure you.

Aww Tilly I really do sympathise with you!  I don't remember any pains etc in my first 3 pg's, but I kow I was in alot of pain with Fred, and so far have a few bad days with this one too!  It's always  worth checking with your mw when you see her next or the consultant whichever is first, but they will just say it's your ligaments stretching more so now because you've not long since had one!  It didn't seem to matter to them that there was 10 yrs between the last one and the one before!

Hope it doesn't get too bad for you, but it is worth getting checked out just so that your sure thats what it is!

i was more uncomfortable in my second pregnancy, but i would just ask your mw to put your mind at rest.

i do remember the afterpains all too vividly and had to take painkillers for a week after giving birth the second time around.

I had more aches and pains with the second and loads more with the 3rd so as everyone else as said it sounds normal.

The afterpains took me by suprise after having the second, thought I was in labour again, one good thing about a c-section is you don't get after pains.
