Hi all just wondering if any of you lovely ladies can shed any light for me. I am 27+4 preg with 2nd baby and for the last 10 days i have had this weird burning sensation on the top left hand side of my bump, a little bit like a chinese burn, i know its not braxton hicks as it's only in one place, but i am sooo confused, i thought it might be my skin stretching? midwife thinks it could be babys foot sticking in or something? just wondering if any of you ahd anything similar?? please help if you can i am soo confused!(and i'm usually bad enough anyway!) thanks muchy Nathalie x x x

When I was pregnant I had Round Ligament pain (amonst others!) which is where the ligaments are stretching to make room for the baby and that sometimes felt as you are describing. Its nothing to worry about if that is what it is.

I had something like this with my 1st pg, i was told it was my muscles stretching and all the organs shifting, i experienced it around 32/33wks but it wasn't a constant pain it sort of came and went
not sure if its the same as your experiencing tho.

I had a similar thing. I didn't get the burning senstation though i got a numbing sensation instead. It is prob just how the baby is lying. If you still have this prob though and not happy about it go back and explain that you need to know what it is. I'm sure though its not anything serious hun. xxxxxx
