Hey All,
Well I've just come on to have a bit of a moan about our local hospital. Basically DH had the snip 4mths ago, and he's now due to hand his first sample in. The thing is it has to be handed in at the hospital, this Thursday between 8.30-9.30am and it has to be less than 1 hour old! Now how exactly do they expect him to do this when he doesn't drive, and I have to drop DD off at school at 8.50am? Even if he got up and *filled his pot* at like 8.20am, by the time we've got through the rush hour traffic in town, we'd never make it back in time to take DD to school. If he went on the bus, it would take him over an hour in the morning traffic, so his sample wouldn't be any good. I do also wonder how he's expected to produce a sample in peace, with an eight year old and a 6mth old distracting him He's also working at 10am, so won't have time to hand it in after we've taken DD to school. Surely most men that have had the snip have kids, so why would they insist on it being handed in right smack bang in the middle of school time? I understand the biological requirement of it being less than an hour old, but it's the blooming one hour drop off time that's driving me nuts. We don't have anyone to have the kids for us on Thursday either cos my Mum and Best Friend (usual babysitters) both work the end of the week! I have absolutely no idea how poor DH is going to manage to do the deed and get it into the hospital for the required time *grrrrrr*
Sorry, rant over
