What makes u think its a fissure? i have had a fissure but it wasnt chronic thank god it was horrendous but much worse whilst on the loo passing the first stage of a stool it was agony - does ure hurt all the time? do u get bright red blood?

I'd deffinately go back to your doctors hun. Pain like you descibe isnt normal, and so an answer needs to be found for the cause im affraid. A month is a long time for you to have suffered with this, and obviously all the treatment you've already tried isnt sorting it, so go back again and see what they suggest. I hope they can find and relieve your little problem soon. x-x-x

How is the pain now? Did you go back to the doctor? Piles can be extremely painful especially if they get infected. You can use pile cream to help with the pain for fissures too. hth

Oh forgot all about this post,
Went back to the Dr AGAIN and was told that it looks like I have a fissure as a result of having the piles. Was given some more suppositories (sick of them) and some cream for the external itching. It still hurts but not half as bad as it did.
