Well, after my escapade at the hospital on Sunday, I went to see my physio today and guess what? My kneecap WAS dislocated after all!  Luckily enough, this happens to my physio regularly too and she has shown me how to relocate it and has given me quad exercises to build up the muscles around the kneecap to keep it in place.

I felt relief as soon as it was back in place and now I know where it is supposed to be I can now treat myself and not bother anyone!!  Im a happy bunny for the moment now!!!  xxxxxx

Thanks to everyone for being here whilst I have ranted and raved xxxxxxxxxx

Its fantastic news honey - I'm so peeved on your behalf that they kept telling you all was ok when it was obviously dislocated!

Good luck treating yourself in future - you'll do a far better job than the NHS.

Glad you've found out at last, and have a wee bit relief from the pain. Shame it took so long. Hope you're much more comfortable now.

xxx

Well, at least you've learnt a new skill out of all the messing about they've made you do, which is deffinately going to come in handy in the future.
I'm pleased somebody finally realised there was a problem with your knee, and its been sorted for you hun.
I'm glad your more comfortable now.

Aww hun, great to hear it's better now...I cant believe the hospital just left you that way, they could have done it for you then to prevent any further suffering.  At least now it's better and you have a new skill under your belt.
