Sorry this is a TMI thread.

I have been feeling sick for a couple of days and suddenly realised late yesterday afternoon I hadnt poohed for days. My medication is pretty heavy and i have to take lactalose to make sure I 'go' but with all the other tablets and stuff I take Ive been forgetting to take it.

So I dosed up on lactalose and drank plenty of water. Well I have beenn up all night on the loo in agony - I think Im cleared out now. My stomach was so painful and I am now shattered - I couldnt only have got an hour or so asleep.

Now my hips are so painful as i missed my meds last night. I have dosed up but I feel absolutely awful, not at all with it. Eds and I are curled up in our jammies still.

So I need to know what I should be eating to ensure it doesnt happen again - I cannot have another night like that!

Good news is Eds had a great day in London with mum and dad yeaterday and arrived home at 8.30 fast asleep and they are taking him into cambridge tomorrow to give me even more rest!

Hiya firstly I'm sure you know this but if you take jsut a little too much lactalose it will have the opposite affect and cause diarrhea therefore causing stomach cramps etc. My mum has had trouble with constipation all of her life and shes finally foudn a cure - she swears by prunes (dried in packets or tinned) so might be worth a try goodluck!
