Thursday's the day for my prolotherapy and I can honestly say I have never looked forward to being stabbed in the groin and back by a big needle quite so much.

I am in so much pain I just cant wait to feel normal again. It isnt just the pain - its the medication and its side effects too. I have been constipated, forgetful, itchy, nauseus, ultry sleepy or unable to sleep, spotty, and all sorts of other odd symptoms.

My right hip in particular is agony and my left is getting worse by the day. I had started to improve and was impressed with how well the oxycodone was working but now I'm going downhill again rapidly. I am waking every hour through the night and the morphine is hardly touching it. I am back on crutches almost full time and feel so restless as I cannot find a postition to get comfortable in.

I just cant wait - the injections are on thursday the 3rd so I should be back to normal before thursday the 10th. My friends and family will get spoilt once I am better as they have been amazing looking after me for the past month.

Lol yay!! Hate to say this but can't resist!! 'Told you so!' You have made it hun and with this week i'm sure i can keep you occupied and busy!

Will say i don't want to be the nurses on duty when they have to face you dh!! lol

I am so pleased I dont have to wait much longer - I am in agony!

Today I was cooking dinner when I twisted funny and my right hip popped out of its socket. Now everytime I move it clicks out and its so painful I am close to tears. I finished dinner but couldnt eat it which was a shame as it was really yummy!

I am scared as my injections always cause the pain to get worse - which is something I just cannot comprehend. I am glad I was given a big enough supply of morphine thats for sure!

Anyway only 2 and half days to go til stabbing - hurrah!

(I will stay positive - I will, I will, I will!!!)

Glad you don't have too much longer to wait. Hope you get quick relief once the injections are done. Good luck on Thursday.

Lynie I'm sure a new Jag would help lots - but i'm afraid I'm only getting jabs! lol but thanks for making me smile.

lol i can second the ouch but if you've made it so far hun a few more days post sabbing will be a doddle. You can do it hun knowing and feeling it tightening should help give you a light at the end of the tunnel knowing it's doign something... and before long you'll be able to feel the effects again.

I know it's been an emotional roller coaster for you these last 6weeks but you've suprised yourself and you've almost done it.... you know i'll do all i can to help i'm only a buzz away.
