Anyone else having this wonderful blissful problem?

Fred has been a gripey ***** all day.  He won't sleep on his own, he has to be on me to go down, he won't chew his fists, as I think he must have realised it hurts, so it has to be my finger, I'm tired and grouchy anyway, but this hasn't helped.  My older 3 were late teethers, so they could hold a teether in their hand and do it themselves but at just 12 weeks, poor lilttle Fred has only just found that his toys on his baby gym can be hit by the things at the end of his arms, and that he can do it himself!  He's dribbling and I don't have any bibs, or the cash at the moment to get them, so he's going through his clothes! Which is a bummer cos it means loads of washing when i have enough to do with little water.  I gave him calpol this morning, and he went out for 2 hours.  It was the best 2 hours of the day. I love him to bits, but I can't help feeling useless about this.  Not even looking out the window at my week old car is making me happy, and just as I am about to sleep, the other 3 came home from school. All they have done is argue, and they've only been home for 36mins, and counting

awwwww hun, i know how you feel, aimee has been a real grouch all day, dont think she's teethin but it still isn't nice.  Mite sound daft but why not use a tea towel or something instead of a bib til you can get some, you can just give them a quick swill and put um to dry.  mite save you a few clothes.  I also know wot u mean bout the others arguein as soon as they get in from school, but i have no answers to that problem though, but if u find one plzzzzzzzz tell me.  Hope u feel better soon chick, tc, jen xxx

Hi Vicki.Ella is 12 weeks too and might be teething.... She's been really dribbly and grumpy and when I got her weighed last week, the health visitor commented on it. She looked in her mouth and said she could see some white!!!

I've been giving her calpol and going for a lot of walks so she's screaming outside and not in my lounge!!!! The HV did say that it could just be an early tooth moving down a bit. She has picked up a bit in the last few days so I hope thats it for a while.

Hope Fred perks up soon!

We are having the same problem.  Ollie is constantly soaked threw and wares at least 3 sets of clothes a day and 8 bibs a day.  His neck is getting sore where it is constantly wet.  What with his dribble and his sore bum poor little boy doesn't know what to do with himself.  Must be horrid not having enough water I think Somerset may call a water shortage soon due to the amount of washing I am doing....

I have a spare barn if you want to send them up here! That's where my 3 older ones will be, cleaning them out, so they can have somewhere almost dry to play the rest of the time! lol
