Our new HV has just visited and I have to say he is a breath of fresh air!  He has 4 children himself, the youngest is 18 months old, so as you can imagine, he wasnt talking unrealisically!!

He is going to wait until the paediatrician has seen Lewis before he tries anything, however, his nursing colleague will be coming out to see us as she has experience in working with children, particularly younger children, with ADHD.

What he did pick up on was the fact that Lewis was constantly wanting attention, which is why he's being naughty all of the time.  Again, Stuart wants to wait for further instruction for Dr Pandy.

Resources are very limited where we live and we are not in a Surestart area.  However, he said if he could possibly help us, he would.

He also said that if there was anything else we needed, just to call him and he would come out to see us.

A lovely man, who is realistic with his ideas and suggestions and he is welcome in my home anytime!!!

Awww hun he sounds like a gem Nikki hun. I'm glad that he also has kids, it makes all the difference. Lets hope Dr Pandy can get things moving quickly and swifty.
