Hi there,

My name’s Seema and I’m working on a documentary about pregnancy and body image for ITV1 and am looking to speak to women who have recently given birth or have a young toddler and still look glamorous.

With celebrities getting back to catwalk-ready figures in next to no time and A-listers proudly parading their perfect bumps on magazine covers, we want to explore whether women across the country feel pressurized to stay in shape and I’m keen to hear from women who have gone the extra mile to look slim and gorgeous during their pregnancy and / or after their baby’s birth.

Are you a yummy mummy who’s become a gym junkie?

Are you keeping to a strict diet?

Are you considering cosmetic surgery to get your body back into shape after your baby’s birth?

If you’re a new mum that refuses to let her looks go, it would be great to hear from you.

If you’re happy to have a chat or just want to find out more information you can contact me on: 020 7013 4595. All contact will be strictly confidential and does not commit you to the programme in any way.

Many thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes,

Seema

hi,im mum to bronze shes 3 and am expecting again boxing day,the 1st time round i went to the gym a couple of times a week throughout the pregnancy and had a nice neat bump which i lost streight after giving birth and i soon got my 6 pack back,i dont dress to look glam or wear make up everyday but i do like to think my body is in good shape. this time round ive not gone to the gym,ive not put any weight on apart from my bump so again it is neat and i can still get into my size 6/8s,i would not go on a diet if i had put weight on however i am plannign on going to the gym after the birth just to tone back up,for my own sake, not anyone elses. and im also considering a boob job as last time my boobs dissapeared and it took nearly 3 years to firm them back upi, which bothered me a lot and im not sure i want to go through thaat again....i think there is far too much pressure on mums to get in shape and look good after having a baby, its okay for all these celebs who can pay for a tummy tuck along side their c-section and then have nannys to care for the kids while they spend time with a personal trainer but unfortunately the rest of us dont have such luxuries and have to look at these women and compare ourselvs which makes us feel rotton,i wish i could be airbrushed for photos and look like i had no stretch marks and a washboard tummy a week after giving birth! xxx

god not me!  My youngest daughter was driving me nuts the other morning - I couldn't wait to get her to nursery, so much so I didn't even brush my hair before I took her lol
