Hi all just a quick question really to those of you with a swinging crib or a small cot. Does ur lo's move about so much that they get there legs stuck in between the bars ellen is always doing this and is 12wks old now and they say a baby can use it till they are able to sit up on their own. Tonight she is going into her cotbed as she can wiggle around but its too big for to get a leg stuck. Little pickle she is.

Ed used to wiggle to the side and get his arm stuck through the side of this crib so i put a rolled up blanket along that side just enough to stop his arm coming through, hes been much happier since.
He is such a wiggler though, in the morning his head is always touching the top of the crib yet when I put him in there his feet are at the bottom.
We are thinking of putting him in his cot soon but as we have a smallish bedroom that means him sleeping in the nursery so I want him to be sleeping through a bit more regually first.

ellen is the same madz we place her in the cib feet to the bottom of the crib when we get her out she is at the top. Last night i was watching her in bed and she wiggles like mad she nearly rolld over onto her side so i think in the nxt couple of weeks she would have done her first roll.

What do you mean, wriggle around? lol Fred is way too big for his moses basket, but he's still in it due to not being able to sort the cot out properly! That is at the top of my weekend list! Sort the cot out so Fred can sleep comfortably!

lol, dp woke me up the other morning and said look at ed so i did and he had his head to the top of the crib and his bum up in the air asleep, hed obviously been wiggling forward and got stuck and hed worn himself out trying to move anymore.
He is such a wiggler, he is never still, never has been. Even as a newborn yuo couldnt craddle him for long as he got bored!
He's gonna be into everything once hes crawling/walking i can see that!

Yes my ds was the same we had to take him out of his crib at 3 months old as his arms where always hanging out the sides, he was so tiny in his cot but looked a lot comfier. i can't see tham lasting till a baby can sit up, they would fall out surely.
Rysn also sleeps with his head to the top and his bum in the air, looks so cute.

dh n i were discussing moving lily into her cotbed in the next week or so as she sleeps in her moses basket inside the cotbed at nite time, n the moses basket downstairs on its stand during the day.well, she doesnt often sleep during the day; but i put her in it for quiet time. shes def getting too big for her moses basket now-not much wiggle room, n not much space to stretch either!
