When your lo is teething, what symptons do they have? For example, the classic red cheaks and general grumpyness, and of course chewing on everything...

Ella seems to have a bit of dihorea when she's teething, and she tend to get a bad cold. In the past when I've mentioned it to one of the HV, they swear blind that its not related, but it does seem to be too much of a coincidence.

Ed is a teething nightmare!

We have bright red puffy cheeks, dribbling, crying, chewing everything (including us), dihoria (sp) and nappy rash, his colds often co-inside with teething - I'm not sure if his immune system is lower because of the teething and it encourages colds or not?

Edward is cutting teeth 9 and 10 and the moment and is child from hell - including awful cold!

Ellie gets a v sore front bottom and looks like Aunt Sally....she dribbles and chews everything in sight and sometimes gets a runny nose...

she doesn't get too grumpy thankfully (hope I don't regret saying that!)

she's had 6 teeth for ages and I can't see anymore coming thru - she doesn't let me get my fingers in her mouth to feel her gums anymore..

Iv heard of all the teething symptoms mentioned, cant understand why hv thinks they're not related

Iv been lucky with ryan hes not really had any teething symptoms - he had nappy rash once (it was gone by next nappy change), occassional red cheeks & dribble & occassional need for calpol. Not bad considering 8,9&10 r on their way

Well, last night was eventfull...

Having had the diarrhea yesterday, Ella must have filled her nappy in her sleep, and woke up at 12.30 absolutely hysterical. It must have been there a while cos it was stuck to her and her bum was red raw. We ended up putting her in the shower! Low and behold this morning, one of her front top teeth is just breaking through...

I've given her a teething powder this morning, and hopefully they will ease things a little!

Hope they come through soon, you have so much trouble getting them and then when they are here they are nothing but trouble.
