For the past week, when Fred wakes up during the day he cries and screams and no amount of comfort will work.  I have no ideas as to why either.  He sounds like he is in pain, but nothing has worked.  We also thought could be (mom and me) that he was sore in his nappy aea, but he doesn't usually scream when he wees, and he doesn't do it at night, just during the day.  I'll mention it to the hv tomorrow, but just wondered on any ideas from here!

Sorry to hear you are having a screaming time.  Maddy does much the same and all my hv said was "they don't tell you they do that when you're expecting ha ha ha" all jolly funny! Not.

Mom thinks it might just be needing a drink, as his throat might be hurting! I never thought of that!  I'll try it tomorrow

My mum suggested that with Edward as he's dribbling so much he may be dehydrated.

Worth a try!
