I can't believe I've reached this stage with my wee boy!

I'm about to sew his school badge onto his blazer!  I remember my mum sewing badges on my brother's and mine when I was school age.  Alex starts Primary 1 next week.  I'll post a pic of the wee handsome lad in his school uniform when I can.

I feel like such a mammy!

Deep breath and start again with plasters and a thimble.  He will look lovely in his blazer and all the better for the badge being sown on in blood and tears...

lol!

Cameron starts school in September, but no blazer thank goodness - can't sew to save myself!

Hope Alex's blazer all sorted soon. Be lovely to see a photo of him on his first day. Is he looking forward to it? Cameron can't get the hang of the fact he won't be going back to pre-school again, though enjoyed his visits to school.

xxx

Alex was the same Angelica, but then after getting his uniform and trying bits and bobs of it on and talking to his wee friend who's going to the same school he's really into the idea now.

Wee man!

mmmm, I think I did get a sewing badge in the brownies Mumsam- but my mum must have sewn it onto my uniform!

I've called and left a message thanking her for all the pain she must have gone through over the years sewing badges onto my various blazers.  When Alex needs a new blazer I think I'll just cut off the front pocket and wonda-web it to the next size up.

(Why didn't I think of wonda-web in the first place?)
