I am child-free again! lol

Ruthie was at the hospital yesterday for more x-rays, and they've changed her leg cast to a below the knee one (purple this time!) - so she headed off to school this morning! Hurrah! That's been about 7 weeks she's been off I think - and she was starting to be soooo bored - even though the school was sending work home with Becca for her.

She was like a minor celebrity this morning - crowds of kids round her (they get the school bus right opposite our house). She's still not to put much weight on her leg, so still on her crutches. She's to go back in 4 weeks for more x-rays, then possibly cast off! Fingers crossed lol!

Soooo - heading out with my friend for some lunch to celebrate my first day of complete freedom...again! (Well for a wee while anyway - school hols start next week lol!)

xxx

Yes Amanda - cast covered in signatures! She loved being back - though was really pale and tired last night. She came home with two invitations to sleep over, but I said she needed an earlyish night to recover. I've given in tonight though - she's away to her friend's house.
