What age should you stop kids bathing together, my 3 still share baths and I don't know if its time I should make my 10 year old bath alone. He hasn't said anything about bathing alone or privacy and he loves company when he's in the bath. He did go through a little patch of him not wanting me to see him naked for a few days but it’s passed now. So do you think it's time I made him bath alone?

Can only tell you what I've done, don't think there is a right or wrong here tbh.
I have stopped my 2 girls bathing together, they are 8 and 6. The reason was they were kissing each others bottoms as a game and enjoying the tickly feeling. Figured best to let them explore that area of themselves alone in future.
Usually put one in the bath and another in our shower, rotates the hair washing for me too.
Works for us, but I don't think there are any rules, if your ds is happy let him continue to share his bath.

I would say if he is happy to bath alone, then let him. I found with my older ones, that they were ready to bath alone when I knew they were safe in water. But he is at the age of getting towards puberty, and if any of his friends found out he baths with his siblings, then it could cause problems. Good luck with your decision.

I would say it is time personally, if you are doubting if he should be alone, then go with that instinct. He has already shown even though briefly that he is growing up and may be getting ready for puberty now. Good luck with your decision xxx

I would say that it's time the oldest one had his own space with you, to learn some independance and for some privacy. Just ask him how he feels about having baths by himself from now on, if he's happy about it go ahead.

My girls and boys were seperated at bath times when my oldest was about 6.. but thats different as i have 4 children, and there just wasn't the room for them to all share, so its just easier doing boys and girls seperately. As i've found out recently trying to move house (all 4 children still sharing one bedroom), that the legal age of boys/girls sharing a bedroom is 10 years old.. i would have thought that goes for personal things too like bathing them, giving them their own privacy, but.. its completely up to you and your boy if would prefer to do this or not. Just my honest opinion, i probably would.. but thats just me, so do what you feel is best for your kids hun. x-x-x

Okay I’ve just sat down and talked to him, He told me he doesn't want to bath alone yet he thinks it will be boring. We have made a deal that he will bath alone before he turns 11. Which is fine by me. Thanks you all for the advice.

I think go by him, if he wants to be alone then fine but if he likes company then fine, i think we worry to much over things, my dd whos nearly 10 has just started to prefer a shower instead of bathing with the others but proberly because theres no room. but they all walk around naked before and after the bath and arent shy which is nice so does dh. Go with the flow and enjoy the innocence of childhood xxx

Hun my mum (mine aren't old enough yet) used to bath all 3 of us together till it got a bit squished! Then the 2 youngest had their bath and i climbed in (being the eldest) for 5mins play and cuddles and they got out and i could have me time with their toys (mum said could you empty them out and put them on the side for me after you've washed.... she then went to get bros' dry and i bathed.... they then had play time in bedroom till mum had helped me learn to wash my hair and i'd climb out and get dry..... it let me play with their toys and not feel silly but gave me an excuse! As ops they keep slipping out of my hands!
Good luck hun it's not easy but if you're comfortable and so are your kids i wouldn't worry too much.
