As you know (or some don't), Sophie was a delayed entry at school as she wasn't interacting with her peers properly and her speech wasn't what it should've been for her age last year. Anyway, this morning I was dropping her off at nursery and Mrs Hickman asked me to stay behind for a few mins. She said that Sophie has really come on in leaps and bounds and the teacher she will have for P1, Mrs Forest, says that she will be more than ready for school this year. They also said that Sophie has an incredibly fast learning curve. She only needs to be shown how to do something once and she can do it by herself.
Sophie has been able to do jigsaws by herself since she was 2 and has self taught herself how to use the pc !!
