Jump in every flaming deep puddle there is!

Ds 1 came home a little bit wet yesterday, but ds2 came home drenched, he'd been running through really big puddles(more like lakes)

I've got his shoes drying over the rayburn, where tey have been since yesterday 4-30pm, and they still don't seem to be getting any dryer! I've had to write a letter to school telling them he has to wear his trainers, luckily they are black!

Lets just hope they have dried by tomorrow as he has pe!

hehe

dont let him join Air Cadets. i'm in the ATC and nearly every wednesday i come home dripping wet and very muddy. (16yrs of age and very muchly female).

i have now got to do my own washing for cadets n i hav a few tricks of the trade for u!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i get really wet feet n shoes n i tried dryin them on a rack n airing cupboard n on the washing line but it always take 4 ever unless the heating is up full blast or its 38 degrees out.

what i do is stick em in the washing machine on a super dooper spin cycle then i hang em on the radiator n theyre dry within bout a day or 2.

but then i am just an adolencent teenager as i am very muchly reminded nearly all the time. but thort u might like my imput.

hayley

I wouldn't mind if he was a toddler, I would actively encourage it but he's 12 yrs old and must be the only idiot in secondary school!  On top of that his school trousers were caked in mud, so I put them on the line to dry them before scraping it off, and washing them, he's only gone and worn the muddy trousers to school!

Great idea splodge thanks!  I've now got them drying in the airing cupboard as we have no radiators, and dh suggested putting newspaper in them to absorb some extra moisture!
